Tomorrow, August 28, is the yearly international event known as Read Comics in Public Day. This is an opportunity to show your love of comics to the world at large, and maybe remind some of the non-comic-reading public that comic books do, in fact, still exist...
Just take your favorite comic or graphic novel, or drop by your local shop and pick up something new, and find a comfy spot you can enjoy said reading material while being seen by other people. If possible, be open to inquisitive people's questions about comics and have a willingness to explain their inherent awesomeness.
